Today's class will be all about practicing and incorporating the style of bel canto.  I have brought on a special guest, Professor FRANCESCO IZZO, who is a leading expert in the field of interpretation of BEL CANTO AND VERDI.  We will go into some of the biggest factors that will help you prepare and interpret this music: structure, articulation, phrasing, variation, and most of all, MUSIC MAKING.  He will be speaking live with the 1pm class, and we will record it.  At the 7pm class we will play an encore presentation of his recorded discussion.   Upon entry into the class, you will be asked to change your name to your full name, as a participant, and include a couple of letters to tell us a bit about yourself.  Choose whichever category best describes you, doesn’t have to be exact!  You can also put more than one.
